The lads started out in a little town called Manenberg in Cape Town, South Africa back in 2000.
In 2001 4Luv joined up with a promotional company based in their home town. Soon they progressed from singing on the streets to performing on stage, where they gained much needed experience.
Much of these feelings started with an audition where the street performers were given an opportunity to travel abroad. They thought this was an impossible dream but took the chance and earned themselves a contract which would soon see them leaving South Africa for the first time to pursue their dream.
In April 2002 4Luv embarked on a journey that would eventually change their lives. Moving from street performing they were now singing on stages abroad, where they became the companies best and youngest tribute show.
Whilst living and performing on the Spanish island of Ibiza for six months they performed in front of many audiences from all over Europe. They performed and were helped by Malcolm Pitt who became a personal friend of the group and recognised their potential. He wanted to help them achieve their goals and introduced them to a friend of his, Mr Delroy Chambers of Del Productions, who happened to be a British manager and promoter. He was impressed with them and decided to take them under his wing and promote them in Europe, where they recorded their first demo 'Stay'. After finishing six months of hard work in Spain, 4Luv returned to Cape Town.
In January 2003 they met Mr Johnny Vandeross who took the role of managing the group. Within the first year of working with him 4Luv had achieved many things. They won the Eoan Group 2003 Battle of the Groups competition and were finalists in the Westgate Mall voice search. They hosted their own concerts which were nearly always sell outs, and together with appearing in a TV series they toured and performed constantly. In between their busy schedule they were busy writing and recording demos.
Due to their popularity abroad 4Luv were asked to tour again and are currently performing in Lanzarote in the Canary Islands as a Backstreet Boys tribute, until the end of the 2004 season.
